a concert in the park

The Cincinnati Brass Band was holding a free concert in Keener Park on Saturday night, so we packed a picnic dinner and drove up.

It was a beautiful evening to be out. We got there just after the concert had started and the amphitheater was already packed, so we parked our blanket at the very top of the hill. That turned out to be a good thing, since it allowed Emma to "sing" and dance as much as she wanted without to us being concerned about disturbing the people who wanted enjoy a peaceful concert. :)
