Early the morning after arriving in California (and after
we announced our news to my family) we left to drive down south to visit John's grandparents. It was a great drive!
Andrew and Helen were so thrilled to see us and meet Emma Grace and Ian - and shower them with a few presents. : )
The presents definitely helped break the ice and get the little ones relaxed. : )
Next we got ready to go to the beach for a few minutes and introduce the children to the Pacific - a must on our parenting list!
They were soooo excited!!!!
the waves were a little bit too much for Em. : )
Ian was so thrilled to be in all that sand! We discourage him from throwing sand in the sandbox, but on the beach we gave him free reign. He was so happy about it.
