first shoes

Emma wore her first pair of shoes to church last Sunday. They were just adorable on her - so little, white, and shiny. I don't think she noticed, though. She seemed too engrossed by her thumbs (yes, thumbs: she hasn't chosen the left or right yet. both are still in the running for "favorite") to appreciate her shoes.
