Emma also is quite energetic when it comes to foot stomping. Often my first indication of her waking up (or not going to sleep) is a thumping/squeeking sound coming from her room. She loves to test her crib springs!

Emma Rolling Over!!

Today we were able to video Emma rolling over! Emma has learned how to roll from her back to her front, but does not know how to go from her front to her back yet! She likes rolling over so much that often times we have to put here in the swing just so she does not get frustrated with herself and start crying because she can't raise her head out of the carpet. :-) Enjoy!

There you have it. We spent yesterday evening at the park.

We introduced Emma to daisies. She took a little while to warm up to them.

But once she did she was all smiles again. Until she got hungry, of course.

It was a lovely evening with just enough of a cool breeze to make sitting in the sunshine quite pleasant. Once we got home the sun gave a marvelous show as it went down. It was a lovely evening.

John's brother Evan turned 21 on May 24. John, Emma and I went over to Indianapolis the night before so that we could spend all day with celebrating with him. :)

Evan bought himself a handgun (because he's 21 now) and in keeping with that theme, we pretty much spent all day shooting things. The morning and early afternoon was spent on a paintball course, the heat of the late afternoon at the Smillie home for BBQ, cake and ice cream, and the evening at a friend's home (BFF Frank) to "try out" Evan's new hand gun.

I had never done paintball before, and - once I got the hang of it - it was SO much fun! Somehow I got quite a bit of pleasure out of shooting at my siblings-in-law and some of their friends ......... :D
