preparing for Christmas

yesterday John and Ian put the lights on our tree, and this evening we will decorate it.
And I have a pot of cider on the stove. : )

our first snow

Yesterday afternoon and evening we had our first snow in our new house. The little ones were so excited to see it this morning!

It was just a heavy dusting and melted away as the sun shone on it, but it sure was fun. : )
